Chocolate Cobbler
Kathy's Recipe
Ingredients
2 Sticks Butter
1½ Cups Self-Rising Flour
1½ Cups Sugar
¾ Cup Milk
1½ teaspoons Vanilla Extract
6 Tablespoons Unsweetened Cocoa Powder (I use dark cocoa)
1 Cup Sugar (to mix with cocoa)
2 Cups Hot Tap Water
Directions
① Melt butter in oblong baking dish.
② Mix self-rising flour, 1½ cups of sugar, milk, and vanilla and pour over butter (do not mix).
③ Mix 1 cup sugar and cocoa powder, and sprinkle this mixture over batter (do not mix).
④ Pour hot tap water over the top (do not mix).
⑤ Bake for 45 minutes at 350°. Do not double.
