Hashbrown Casserole
Ingredients
1 Stick Margarine
1 Can Cream of Chicken Soup
¼ Cup Chopped Onion
(1) 8-oz. Container Sour Cream
1 Bag (24 or 32-oz.) Hash browns
(1) 8-oz. Package Shredded Mild Cheddar Cheese
Salt & Pepper to Taste
2 Cups Finely Crushed Cornflakes for Topping (Optional)
Directions
① Spray large baking dish with Pam.
② Spread hash browns in dish and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
③ Mix together soup, sour cream, margarine, and onion and microwave for 2 or 3 minutes.
④ Layer this mixture on to the layer of potatoes.
⑤ Cover with shredded cheese.
⑥ Poke with fork several times.
⑦ Put crushed cornflakes on top.
⑧ Cover with foil and bake at 400° for 1 hour, removing foil for the last 10 minutes of baking time.
