Hashbrown Casserole

Ingredients


1 Stick Margarine
1 Can Cream of Chicken Soup
¼ Cup Chopped Onion
(1) 8-oz. Container Sour Cream
1 Bag (24 or 32-oz.) Hash browns
(1) 8-oz. Package Shredded Mild Cheddar Cheese
Salt & Pepper to Taste
2 Cups Finely Crushed Cornflakes for Topping (Optional)

Directions


Spray large baking dish with Pam.
Spread hash browns in dish and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Mix together soup, sour cream, margarine, and onion and microwave for 2 or 3 minutes.
Layer this mixture on to the layer of potatoes.
Cover with shredded cheese.
Poke with fork several times.
Put crushed cornflakes on top.
Cover with foil and bake at 400° for 1 hour, removing foil for the last 10 minutes of baking time.
