Hot Fudge Sundae Cake
Ingredients
2 Cups Flour
1½ Cups Sugar
4 Tablespoons Cocoa
4 teaspoons Baking Powder
½ teaspoon Salt
1 Cup Milk
2 teaspoons Vanilla
4 Tablespoons Oil
2 Cups Brown Sugar
½ Cup Cocoa
3¼ Cups Hottest Tap Water
Directions
① In ungreased 9"×13" pan, stir together flour, sugar, 4 Tablespoons cocoa, baking powder, and salt.
② Mix in milk, oil, and vanilla with fork until smooth.
③ Spread evenly in pan.
④ Mix brown sugar and the ½ cup cocoa; blend well.
⑤ Sprinkle over top of batter.
⑥ Pour hot tap water over top.
⑦ Bake 40 minutes at 350°.
⑧ Let stand 15 minutes.
⑨ Spoon the cake into dishes.
May top with ice cream
Icing Ingredients
½ Cup margarine, melted
¼ Cup Milk
1 Cup Brown Sugar
2 Cups Powdered Sugar
Icing Directions
① Cook margarine and brown sugar until thickens.
② Cool slightly.
③ Add milk and powdered sugar.
May add pecans
